    HTC One V Virgin Mobile to Page Plus Flash Issue - Can't make first call

    Hi,

    I've searched the forum, but don't see this issue addressed (apologies if I missed it). I just went through the steps to flash my HTC One V Virgin Mobile phone to Page Plus. Everything seemed to go OK (no error messages...). At the end of the guide it said to make a call. I called my home number and instead of getting the Page Plus automated message I get a recording from Verizon Wireless saying, "Please hold while your call is transferred to an external operator where you can make a collect call..."

    Any ideas one what I did wrong? Any help is appreciated.

    You're likely roaming. Need to figure out why you're roaming and fix that first.

    If you're not roaming, then your phone is not flashed correctly.

    it sounds like it not flashed correctly first you need to see if on the about phone if your tel# and program # = to mdn and min shous up if so then check the settings on the flash make sure it is on evdo only and cdma and hibrid mode also try flashing with sim and without sim and try differnt comm ports if there is more than one .once you get the talk and text working then you can work on the data and mms if your mdn and min are not there then the flash did not stick go back to the thread and try again if you still cant get it then pay someone to flash it remotely

    as far as roaming try differnt prl it sounds like your on the sprint prl and that is y your roaming get a verizon evdo prl there is plenty on the threads

    thank all for your help. I decided to seek a local reseller to flash my two phones. So far so good.
