Where's the dialtone?
I was given a Spring Samsung Galaxy Victory on the pay-as-you-go program as a gift. It was purchased online. However, there is zero Sprint service where I live. I've gone through the process of cancelling the service. Today I contacted Page Plus so I can try to switch to the new phone. I gave my old and new MEIDs, and was told that they cannot program the phone because it's a 4G phone. I tried *228 and *22890 (I get a "Mobile network not available" message), tried "active this device" ("Network is not available"), as well as updating the profile (I get a 407 error). Meanwhile, my number is stuck in limbo.
Has Sprint locked this phone? Can I even use this thing on PPC? Help!
