[Q] Cowboom sale on HTC 8X -- should I get one?

CowBoom has just placed the T-Mobile HTC 8X on sale for $179.99.

I've been planning to move from Android to Windows Phone for some time. Is this a good phone with which to do so?

Are there any downsides to the HTC 8X?

    Thanks in advance,
    Rich

It's a good device if you can live with the screen resolution and lack of apps. Windows Phone is fluid OS but still needs some work IMO

the storage on the HTC 8X is somewhat lacking, either 8 or 16 GB w NO microSD slot, other than that , nice looking phone ... lots of apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace, but not all, determine which are important to you. I have every app I need.
A better bet would be the Nokia Lumia 925 (I believe thatz the T-Mobile variant), but itz prolly a tad more. Check the Microsoft store (or Amazon) may be cheaper.
EDIT - Cowboom does NOT mention storage, so possibly 8GB version ! That will fill up very quickly, w apps, pix, etc. However, I could be mistaken, I'd check on the storage w Cowboom.
informed/intelligent comments are welcome ... BS - not so much ...

    peace,
    ROK

I was looking for crucial information on this subject. The information was important as I am about to launch my own portal.
