I am sure that I had long ago turned off receiving text messages on both of my payLo Basic accounts. Yesterday, one of those accounts received (and was charged for) a text message. When I went to Manage My Account->Phones, Apps & More->Edit Message Settings on the VIrgin Mobile web site, Disable Incoming Text Messages was not checked for either account. I was able to recheck this option for both accounts, but I'm wondering if Sprint managed to do a mass disabling of this option during one of their "upgrades."
