Umm, no, Lycamobile holds that title. H2O is a good service, though.

Why it is 29th day? Should it be 30th?

A friend was afraid of signing up thinking they would charge immediately and start a new 30 days. Can anyone confirm if you sign up it won't take effect till your expiration date ?

i too got the back to back texts from h2o concerning "auto pay", and i don't appreciate being charged for them. i've tried in the past to have texting disabled, but they refused. shady operation, imo.

I signed up last month and it didn't charge until my expiration.

Anyone know if this is automatic? I'm already signed up for autopay, hopefully I'll get that 10% off. If not, I guess I'll have to cancel autopay and then sign back up, which would be so silly.

I read on facebook that it's not automatic. You have to cancel autopay and then re-sign up.

Did anyone who is on a UTnT monthly plan get this text message?

From what people are reporting here, it sounds like this is just the offer they've had for a while. They've offered this 10% discount to the PayGo people for some time now.

    From their terms and conditions..

    1. It is not good on accounts that are currently enrolled in auto-recharge. We can only assume this means if you cancel auto recharge and sign up again, you will get the discount.

    2. The offer is get this promotional 10% discount is available for 60 days. The language is a bit ambiguous, though. It seems to indicate that you must register for auto-recharge within 60 days to get the offer, but then goes on to sound like you must have an auto-recharge occur within the 60 days, so on the safe side I would sign up soon enough that the first charge occurs within 60 days.

    3. The promotional discount is good for 12 months from the date that you sign up for auto recharge. So for anyone asking if this is "for life," it is not, unless H2O extends the promotion. On the plus side it means we know it will last for at least 12 months.

This is good for people with 1 line. $27 500mb or $36 1gb plan.

2 lines: 1 at 500mb and the rest at 1gb best to take the $10 per line family plan discount which is 25% discount off $40 plan.

I'm on the Unlimited $30/mo plan, and I received no email nor text.
When I paid a couple of weeks ago, I did select to Not have auto pay, which seems to have been a programming error on their web site.
I suspect they are just having a number of minor problems, none of which are really bothering me.
now with H2O, after Straight Talk LTE sim debacle 4th Quarter 2013.
Currently on locked AT&T iPhone 4S. (backup: iPhone 4)
    iOS: 7.1.2, carrier: AT&T 16.0 , modem: 5.2.00 , Data & MMS just fine.
    Previously at: iOS 6.1.3, carrier 14.2, modem 3.4.03 .

Thanks for the info, I guess it is a tease by H2O, too bad it would have been nice if it was permanent. I wounder id Airvoice will follow suit and compete?

Black, Sky, and H2o are all trying different marketing approaches.
Throwing 'em at the wall, to see what sticks.
We get to choose which premium or bonus suits us, for pretty much same service & price.
This promotion finally pushes my button.
Besides, I have a big bag of H2o SIM cards in all three sizes.
    .
Edit: and of the three, only H2o offers the family plan discount.
Not something I can use, but still an attractive offer for many.

    Is this an on-going promotion?
I plan on porting my dad to H20 Wireless $30 plan in a few months.
Will he get the 10% off for 12 months after signing up for auto-pay within the 60 days of activating his account??

    I got the text today.

Has anyone confirmed this? I just tried the online chat, but it's overloaded and not accepting new sessions.

I recall from signing up for auto-recharge that it doesn't affect one's expiration date or "reset the clock."
