AT&T Throttling me after bill cycle over (multiple times, very annoying please help)

Hi, so as you know AT&T throttles users on an unlimited data plan after 5GB on LTE, I have an iPhone 5 and for a while this issue has came across where I always pass 5GB on my monthly usage, and my bill cycle ends on the 28th and new on the 29th. Well I will still be throttled on the 29th and most likely 30th sometimes even the next day. I have called AT&T repeatedly and they reset stuff, I reset my phone etc, then they keep calling different departments, and now tell me "it doesn't show you are being throttled on your device anymore, it must be a problem with your phone"... God I hate when people read of scripts! No its not!, I've gone through this for MONTHS, maybe years. It will still be throttled after the bill cycle ends. I am sick of calling customer service because they go through the same run around, blame my device, change sim card, this has been 2 devices its happened to, and I have changed my sim card multiple times.

I run a speed test and see the speed pushed back down to 0.50 so I know I am still being throttled. Is there ANYTHING anyone here can think of to stop this?

    Thanks.

Could be a network issue in your area. It's not the end of the world. Pick and choose your battle more carefully.

You're a MOD, how useful / tangent to the issue was that comment ?

The OP asked a question & was looking for help.
You'd be quick to call someone else out ...
informed/intelligent comments are welcome ... BS - not so much ...

Not a network issue, I mentioned it happens every month and customer service looked into that. Please be more kind with your responses.

Great I'm not the only one. Have you ever had it successfully taken care of?

    Nope.

They do it on my unlimited corp line too, apart with mine they send me a text at 5GB warning me, then at 6GB they throttle for the rest of the month.

Don't use absurd amounts of data, and you won't be throttled.

Do me a favor, if you have nothing to contribute to fixing the problem, then being smart talking like "don't use absurd amounts of data"... its a 5GB cap before throttle, I use 5-7 a month I have an UNLIMITED data plan for a reason.... just don't contribute to the thread at all.

All I am looking for is help, or anyone's opinion on how to fix the problem of AT&T still throttling me after the new bill cycle started for the 1-3 or so days they do, AT&T is no help themselves I have tried talking to them multiple times, so again if you have nothing to contribute to helping the problem please keep the smart remarks out of the thread.

    Thanks.

Sorry, you don't get to dictate who says what in your thread. I would like to know how anyone uses that much data. Porn?

I asked for help sir, not to be talked with smart *** remarks that's exactly what has been happening in this thread by 2 individuals one apologized so I am okay with that. I stream music while I drive a lot if you are wanting to know. Also if you think using 5-7 gigs is a lot a month, why don't you ask around some people use 15-20 on their unlimited plan. Why are people so childish when it comes to getting help around here? Like I said if you have nothing nice to say and want to act like a smart *** then don't post at all, I don't even care if no one else posts its better then going back to my thread thinking someone had some good information to contribute and I read some total BS. I been on this forum for a while, and it really irks me now that I see regulars just acting like smart asses.. what ever happened to the very knowledgeable people around here that I was used to seeing always polite at helping people and such... I wouldn't mind this if it was a debate thread or a news article but its not.

I haven't been able to get them too understand that they are still throttling me but i have noticed that the more data you use the less you get throttled ex,5 gb is when it slows if you go up to 10 gbs it will speed back up alittle bit when you use about 13 to 14 it starts to slow back down if you get up to 18gbs it will speed back up but it wont be full speed but thats what the network seems to do in my area any way my wife has the same experince
