    10.3 Apps Leaked

Hi BB10 Faithful (not much of us left to be honest; I'm Bi- as in I love BB10 & iOS) - I'm a straight guy for the record GOT IT? GOOD!

Ok ... going to be installing the following apps leaked.

BBM10.3 (Groups if you have any all members HAVE to have the same version for all the features to work, just an FYI)
    BB10.3 Browser - I'm hearing it's SUPER fast!
    Camera
    Weather
Maps - I cannot seem to find BB's Map in the downloaded zip, any help on this one?

Plenty more are there - curious why there is a MediaCast streaming and server listing IF this is for the Z10 10.3 which the Z10 hardware wise is not able to support ... hmmm, I'm tempted but not yet.

PS: I'm still on the Z10, Z30 delayed arrgh!

    Leaky Leaky

I can't wait for 10.3 to roll out...i'll finally be able to file sent items into other folders!

And unlimited app icons can be stored in folders.

Z30 on the way, eh? Congrats! I switched to my Z10 while my Q10 sat on rice for a couple days, and let me tell you I'm so happy to be back to my Q. The bigger, brighter screen on the Z is nicer, but I much prefer the keyboard and the form factor of the Q. The Z is always slipping out of my hand. And I have to concentrate so much to type on the Z.

How do you like the Q10? I'm switching from the 5S/Z10/Galaxy 4 to the Q10 for typing. How you like the QWERTY on the Q10? Does it feel cheap or sturdy? Is the button spacing with the Q10 more generous than the Torch 9800? My biggest complaint with Torch was that the QWERTY was crammed making it fairly difficult to type without the thumbs getting in the way of each other.

I have used the Bold series in the past and very much liked the QWERTY for typing.

^Best BlackBerry keyboard yet. I had a 9800 and it wasn't even in the same ballpark as the Q10. Mostly because of the ridges that got in the way, but also because it was smaller. Up until now the 9900 had my favorite keyboard, but now that's definitely the Q10. Only issue is there's a widespread double-type issue where certain keys register twice. Most are fine new, but develop issues over time. I had my keyboard replaced under warranty a few months ago and it's been great since.

Over time on the z10 I've had to be more and more careful. The "heat-mapping" under the screen to learn where you type is a double-edge sword of sorts cause it ALSO learns your repeated mistakes and thinks that's how it should behave. There is no publicly known way to reset heat mapping which is severely needed to make this tolorable.

I have no clue how the Z10 would slip out of your hands with the rubberized backing ... I'd think the Q10/Z30 would be more slippery but I'll soon find out within 2wks.

I accidentally loaded (using PlayBook Manager extension via Chrome) to my Z10 and camera doesn't even work arrgh!

Downloaded 10.3.296 and installing that on my STL-100-3 (just saw the other Z10's get their batch file auto loaders too). Can't wait to see what's the real fuss about. Hub has changed a LOT so I'm iffey on how this'll warm me over.

I have the white Z10 now which is more slippery than the black one I had at launch. Plus it dings easy. My black Q10 has been dropped countless times, and no dings yet.

Good luck with the 10.3 leak. Looking forward to feedback.

Very unstable ... an acquired taste.

I formatted using BBLink downloaded 10.2.1 and now I cannot backup Arrgh!!!

Link detects it connected but presents me a "Reconnect" which never works! I'm livid right about now.

People are reporting far too many issues with 10.3 which shouldn't come as a surprise as it's hardly a finished product. Since 10.1 I've have less and less need/want to download leaked updates, with 10.2 I honestly feel that BlackBerry has the best OS out there, well, certainly for my needs.

I love my Q10 thats for sure but I must say I do like my BB 9900 better for typing. But the Q10 with 10.2.1.3 has been good so far and of course the battery on the Q10 is great! Yeah I'll wait till we get some newer 10.3 releases without watermarks and a few more bugs worked out before I install it on my Q10.

I have a Q10 for personal and a 9900 for work. Typing I find the same, though I find certain actions like the 'sym' button of the 9900 to react quicker. I like the 9900 better for work purposes.

But...I dropped the 9900 on tile today and cracked the screen. It's been dropped dozens of times without issue, but I guess today was the final straw. I have a Q10 coming this week to replace it, so now I'll be rocking 2 Q10's - a white and a black. I think I'm going to miss my BlackBerry 7 device though.

^It's a moot point now anyway because my 9900 had a fall last week Still works, but the screen can be used in place of my Mach 3 razor, so not exactly safe. So now I'm sporting 2 x Q10's instead. Can't wait for 10.3 though!
