Ive been travelling for 4 months Australia and Thailand. Still in Thailand.
When I arrived in Australia I switched off my phone to not incur any charges. My pay monthly bill in the UK is £12 a month roughly. Each month I turn my phone on to pay the bill each month it has been about £30...dont know why.
Last month I had enough and phoned them to give them 30 days notice to cancel. I paid all up with one more bill expected for not using my phone...I have never used any minutes, data, or texts and roaming has always been switched off along with my phone.
Only time I ever use the phone is to pay the bill and for my camera.
When I phoned up to Cancel I was on hold for 35 minutes when I got through to someone I put in a complaint. My bill this month is £96~!
I phoned up today to demand what was going on, they said every time I phone tmobile to pay my bill i get charged £1.50 a minute which explains the previous bills due to being on hold, now this months huge bill for not using my phone being switched OFF is not far as they put me on hold for 35 minutes! Which is where the charges have come from...
Is there anything I can do I do not want to pay this for not usig my phone just phoning up to pay my bill and cancel the line but being on hold so long...
Thank you for any help,
Ben![]()
