GoPhone Smartphone Plan with unlimited data?

Am I seeing things or did AT&T add unlimited data to their $60 GoPhone plan for smartphones?

Holy smokes. They are back in the game.

Edit: 2.5 GB high speed, plus it lists a 512 kbps throttle? Wow!
    I don't feel like a thread-killer...

Typo. When you click details, it said 2.5 gb and you can purchase another 1gb for $ 10. No mention of throttled speed after 2.5 gb.

Take your mouse over the question mark. I think the $10 is more high speed.

A 512kbps throttle? Wow, their throttle is better than Sprint 3G!!

    I hope this is true.

Well, at $54 with Callingmart discount, that high a throttle, free hotspot and their extensive coverage, it kills anything Tmo/Metro has.

from what I can see when I log into my account, I don't see that as an option on the 60$ plan. it may only be available in certain region.

Maybe you will at renewal time? It is worth a call to them at some point to find out what is going on. Things being done differently on a geographical basis would be new and strange.

I didn't enter a zipcode. The page showing the unlimited data showed up when I clicked on Shop, Wireless then I clicked on Prepaid Plans at the bottom of the page. There is a link for GoPhone plans that doesn't show the unlimited data. I wonder if they will be making changes but the webmaster has started making changes.

You think this change possibly is to keep up with Crickets' data plans ?

I don't think they are worried about that. If anything, I would say this is to compete with other big prepaid brands (ie Tmobile, Sprint, Verizon) on the $60 price range.

Oh yes, that makes more sense. I forget about those three sometimes
