T-Mobile Is Ending Their "Refer A Friend" Promo Dec. 3, 2014

I have been trying for over a month to get this activated. Did anybody here ever get this successfully authorized?

I too got it on my 1 completely unlimited line, and two $25 referral cards, with 1 more supposedly in waiting.

T-Mobile Is Ending Their "Refer A Friend" Promo Dec. 3, 2014

Another month has passed since this program was scheduled to end. I haven't heard anything more. I suppose T-Mobile is just hoping that we will all just forget about this. I might just call again to see what the latest is on this. It sure seemed like a program that was poorly managed and not very well thought out!

UPDATE: I returned home today and in the mail was a magenta envelope from T-Mobile! I am very happy about that. Now I ahve to look back through the old posts and see how to redeem this. If I recall correctly, I have to take this to a T-Mobile store and it can be applied to my bill. Thanks again to everybody who helped me with this!

I received one of the $25 cards last week and took it in to a Tmobile store today to have it applied, but the rep told me to do it online instead. I told her that I thought it could only be done in stores, but she said "No, treat it like a credit card and do it on the website. That way you won't have to pay tax, which I'll have to charge you if you apply the promo card in our store". Well, I got home and tried it, but couldn't get it to work, so looks like I'll have to make another trip to the store. Is charging tax on a "reward" redemption par for the course? Is there any way to redeem other than in store?

I just went into a store on Friday and got the $25 card applied to my account with no problem and that was with a -$375 balance already in place.

I've applied several in store, almost $200 in credit in less than 3 months 👍

I've had the free unlimited for more than a year now. Started in Oct 2014 and it's still on my account. I thought it was only supposed to be one year.

    Anyone else?

I recently heard TMO COO Mike Sievert acknowledge this was an area they hadn't figured out... at least they know it and are presumably working on it.

Happy customers are the best advertising, I hope they get a better system!

I think Legere stated that we get to keep it forever or until March 2017
