    International Calls

I actually had asked Wind CS this question but never got an answer... they just told me dial it and see lol

Anyone have an idea what the cost per minute to dial +883 would be?

Oh and for those running to website, this is an iNum code, not a country code
It is sad I need to state the obvious but some people just don't get it. Any posts I make are my own OPINIONS and in no way represent the views of my employer

    It's an international number (iNum)
So if you get a SIM with it, there is free roaming since not country specific

Although it is always free to call from +883 to +883 wherever you are, some carriers refuse to connect the calls (iNum actually has a form you can send to your carrier requesting access) and others charge ALOT

I knew World Saver had discount rates so I was hoping
    Too bad

PS and yes my new carrier gave me a free iNum which is what started this

And which carrier is that? Didn't know any Canadian carriers were offering iNum?

Why do you need to be able to call from iNum to iNum?

Oh iNum to iNum is always free (so say if I am over roaming in China & Wife is out in Europe then it is a free call, no roaming)
Some carriers are also free to iNum (others charge a reasonable fee, eg Google Voice @ $0.03 per minute)

Wind never gave me a straight answer (and after the good Doctor showed me their rates now I know why )
$6.50 a minute is just insane. Too bad.

Inum and Iridium are NOT the same. Irridium is a sattelite network with its own country code +881 (not +883 for Inum).

You can call Inum numbers free by using a local access number.
    http://www.inum.net/what-is-inum-2/l...ccess-numbers/

On the other hand, Wind charges $10/min for calls to Inmarsat sattelite network while Telus charges only $0.50/min. Nuts!
