    Sometimes micro and nano-SIM's don't have easily identifiable markings (other than the SIM card number) like carrier logos so it could have been easily overlooked by the staff. My guess would be that they only realized it wasn't thier SIM card when they ran a SIM card number check against their database

    Talking of it, this trick of mine maybe good for you... just mark the SIM cards with a permanent marker. Sure, the nanoSIM cards are small and some network operators do not print a logo on it too. But even a single letter or a dot in red / green / blue may save us time to identify which is which.
