I recently bought a SH-11C on amazon that was listed as unlocked, though when I got it and turned it on it said "UIM cannot be used." I contacted the seller and gave me a refund and let me keep the phone, but now I was wondering if there was any way to get it unlocked without getting a hypersim? I'd rather send it to someone in Japan than get a hypersim, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that in a safe way either
Thanks for your help!
In case you're still trying, here is what i was told about a similar phone.so you'd probably have to find someone to physically take it there and get it unlocked.Unfortunately, there is no way to unlock the SH-03E unless you bring it physically into a Docomo shop, have a person with Docomo account , tell Docomo shop their account number, sign the unlocking agreement, pay unlocking fees.
The phone needs to also have a clean IMEI number, and is checked when its connected by the usb to their computers to run the official unlocking.
