    Screen shown "Emergency calls only"

My daughter reset her phone because she forgot her password. Now the only screen that shows up when she powers the phone on is "emergency calls only". If she presses the menu button nothing happens.

Can anyone give me some guidance on this one? she is overseas and wants to use it to take pictures, then when she gets stateside she will reactivate it.

    Thanks.

Emergency Calls Only means the phone isn't connected to a network. Is she able to run the apps on the phone?

Maybe it needs to be rebooted a few times, battery pulled, etc.

Isn't theDINC a CDMA phone (which means it won't work anywhere else but North America (and maybe Korea))? Also, have her try hitting the "back" button on the "ECO" screen.
