Why are you staying with att

So what is the reason why you have att and did not switch to cricket. The cost of 2gb on cricket is 35$ a month and same service on att is 65 to 80$. What is te reason you are staying ?

Because I have the grandfathered unlimited plan and am not giving that up. Not to mention, I'm not going pre-paid. No reason to, as long as the subsidy model sticks around.

Data is cheaper on AT&T for Data connect plans. Plans are $30 for 3GB or $50 for 5GB a month with tethering included. I also get included domestic roaming and abilty to use international roaming.

If Cricket had tablet or data only plans but did not offer domestic and international roaming, I would not be interested even if it was priced at a cheaper rate. Cricket is known as a sub brand and offers lower service levels and features for a lower cost. I would never be on Cricket since it will never offer the same service levels and features as they don't want to devalue the AT&T brand.

For those who want cheaper pricing and don't use roaming services at all nor care about higher non throttled speeds, then Cricket or an MVNO is for you. There are several to choose from.

Cause we have 4 UDP with no hard throttling and 2 year subsidies on devices. Plus total data usage on all 4 UDP is 30GB per month.

Because, I was with Cricket and my Data was poor. I am with Gophone and I like it much better! Since Cricket does not have any server's near me I suspect that's why. AT&T though has opened up a new server closer to me so Gophone now has lower pings Between 30-60ms. Also GOphone with calling mart is $5 more for 1GB less than Cricket.

H2O Sims are given away for free to make commission from activations. One can get those on Amazon. The rates on Cricket and MVNOs are tempting for Smartphones especially for those who remain in service area but I could never give up roaming.

    --Tethering
    --Uncapped speed
--Doubled data 20 GB for the price of 10 promo from last year + rollover
--7 users on MSV plan + FAN bringing total cost per line to under $32/mo. for unlimited talk/text and 20+ GB shared data which comes out to almost 3 GB per user if divided evenly (though some only use 250 MB/mo. leaving more for those who need more).

With 7 users on a MSV plan, Cricket would cost MORE to get the same level of service -- and even then have a speed cap and no tethering.

Data coverage is King! I do a lot of road trips, and ATT got good data coverage. Combined with FAN and recent discounts, my total bill is $117.90 for 3 smartphones with 10 GB sharing. This is about the same with Cricket, but with all the benefits of postpaid. We all use Android so we set data limits on each phone and so far, no overage.

I stay because they have the best coverage in most parts of Texas. I have also never had any issues with customer service.

No they don't. Much lower speeds, higher latency, and poor customer service.
