Cross Canada Plan

So I called videotron today to inquire about their new cross canada plan which provides LTE speeds in ontario.

I was surpassed to learn that they do not ship sim cards unless you buy a new phone on a 2 year contract. According the videotron representative the only way I can subscribe to a BYOD plan is to drive to the closest store.

Anyone else in southern ontario looking at videotron, did you have any luck getting a sim card shipped?

It is possible to have a SIM card shipped but it is difficult.

But anyway Videotron Cross Canada Plans are for Quebec & Ottawa people.
Videotron doesn't have the right to bring people on Rogers Network outside theses regions (even the system do not allow it)

Take a drive to Ottawa to grab a SIM is close

You can certainly use plan outside just remember it is a non local number

Or ask a resident to help you out

The majority of your use would have to be in Ottawa.
