I'm in the 89117 area as well. AT&T is really slow around Las Vegas. T-Mo is weak in some areas like Tivoli Village / inside Suncoast but is generally workable everywhere else. I think T-Mo is also co-locating on AT&T's new towers in the SW region.

T-Mo is pretty good on the strip when it comes to speeds. Inside Aria/Cosmo/Bellagio/Venetian/Treasure Island/Caesars/Bally's/Cromwell/Flamingo/most casinos, LTE coverage is decent and fast and sometimes stronger than HSPA coverage. T-Mo is weak inside of Planet Hollywood, The Linq, and a few other hotels, but Sprint trails the pack for on the strip in building coverage. Sprint roams inside of much of the Venetian for example. AT&T/VZW are just saturated.
    Bye!

I've never had great reception on AT&T inside the casinos. I was amazed how strong the LTE was there.

Best speeds I've had on AT&T here are 10-12 on a really good day. Usually closer to 2-5.
    Nexus 6 - 64 GB - Midnight Blue
    Nexus 4 - 16 GB - Black
    Nexus 9 - 32 GB - Black
And my first: Samsung Galaxy Craptivate.

I believe Tmo teamed up with MGM Resorts and provides in-house services for their staff (Tmo phones?) as well as service for Tmo customers staying in their resorts. It's not an exclusive deal (like what at&t has with Disney Parks) but we at least know their structures are full of micro cells.

However, last time I stayed at Monte Carlo there was spotty coverage inside the rooms. But staying at MGM Grand it was complete coverage 4G LTE in all corners of the resort.

From experience it seems Tmo has micro cells in most of the other resorts too. Things have really changed from the days you'd be fighting for bandwidth mixed with spotty coverage.

Hmmm....since last night it's dropped down to <10 Mbps download, but still getting 20-30 upload.
