Being in downtown Austin is like stepping back in time to 2013. Best speed I’ve gotten was 14mbps. Barely usable at the airport, 3-4 mbps near my hotel. I’m sure at Austin city limits tomorrow, it’ll be even slower. Clearly no major improvements since I was here in the spring.

Blue Owl in East Austin. 0/0 on LTE

Band 14 hasn’t helped here at all. Horrible, horrible coverage and speeds.

    AT&T 4G HSPA+/LTE Speedtests!

    Before we enter 2020

Is ATT’s biggest issue overall density? I know in some markets it isn’t, but is this the case overall

Must be the same engineering team as Austin. Wow, that’s unusable.

I think the last few posts have demonstrated that there are sort of two experiences with AT&T: areas where AT&T is just really bad and could use some work and areas with really great speeds (anywhere from like 30-300+Mbps), coverage, etc.

There doesn't seem to be much of the in-between where it's mediocre, but tolerable.
