I am calling my congressperson for phone company forcing customer to pay

for unwanted service AND they cannot be sued through class action lawsuits. Or is there already such an ongoing campaign?

I know only a few people can receive direct financial benefit through class action lawsuits, but the threat of class action lawsuits can force large corporations to behave and to not bully customers, and we as customers all benefit from this. Lawyers are bad, but large corporations without check are worse.

Please. Sorry to put it this way but "don't be ridiculous." You need to understand a couple of basic concepts:

    (1) Capitalism

    (2) Monopoly Power/Market Power

    (3) "Prepaid"

    (4) Consumer Choice

As Nancy Regan might have said: you can (5) "just say no."

NO WAY NO HOW ARE YOU BEING FORCED TO PAY FOR UNWANTED SERVICE

NO WAY NO HOW IS THIS REMOTELY SOMETHING THAT COULD BE BROUGHT AS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

Ummm...what happened? Somebody at PPC stole your bank account info and is deducting for service that you don't want and refuses to cancel it? Or what?
