He said they'll waive the fee. Still don't think there should be any.

But it's not a plan, it's an addon

EDIT: I removed it from the self serve menu and didn't see any charge for it. Will keep an eye on my next bill. Maybe they tried to charge you the "talk to CS" fee.

I'm on the $25 plan with premium data and agree that right now paying for premium data and the 1 mbit/s speed is not worth it. I looked at downgrading to the $10 plan on the self serve site but the $10 option isn't there. Has anyone been able to downgrade or to select the $10 option online. I'm trying to avoid calling in if I can.

I checked my account and don't see the option either. The $20 is there but not the $10.

Do you have the $20 add on already? Maybe it's smart enough to know that if you already have the premium add on, that you shouldn't also sign up for regular data.

I went in and removed the $20 about two weeks ago.

I see that you already have data though so maybe the system knows that if you already have data that it shouldn't offer you the basic data option. I'm going to remove the premium data closer to my billing date and see if the cheaper data option pops up. Worse case I can always phone in to try to get the basic data added. I just wanted to avoid a possibly fight over a change fee, but since it seems I can remove it online, it shouldn't be a problem.

Cancelled it as well. Can't find $10 plan online and need to call them to add the $10 data.

Btw, I lost my data as soon as I cancelled the $20 data instead of end of my term. The mobi guy told me I'll need to pay $10+tax to add the data, but he waived it. Weird.
