    Where there's a will, there's a way.

What we're looking at here is a Nexus 6P, wirelessly charging on a TYLT charging stand. If you weren't aware, Google has dropped Qi charging as a spec from 2015 Nexus phones, much to the dismay of Nexus fans like myself. So one redditor (imgurian?) took matters into their own hands with a clever hardware hack.

There's not much in the way of a description accompanying the photo gallery posted to r/Android, but I think I've more or less figured out how it was done.

This is the "daughterboard" of the 6P—basically, the USB-C charging port. Because it lies at the bottom of the phone it would make sense that you could get at it from the nearby plastic panel. See Step 8 in iFixit's Nexus 6P teardown for another view of this component.

So where do those two red wires go...?

... Why, to a wireless charging coil, stuck to the back of the phone, of course. Remember, this is a hardware hack, and hardware hacks often aren't pretty.

Fortunately, this particular hardware hack can be covered up with a case.

While detaching the USB assembly from a phone isn't something I'd ever attempt, it's encouraging to know that it's at least possible. For the original photos and discussion of the procedure, see the links below.

as I know the Nexus 6P don't support wireless charging function. So may I ask how do you achieve this?
