Me too. ETFs for 7 lines! Remains to be seen how it'll play out (if he will get VISA rebate cards from T-Mobile in time to pay).

Is there any good news? It's always so depressing visiting here.
I really want to see Sprint recover and do well.

Sure there is. But do you hang out in the opposing team locker room hoping for rational news on the other team? Do you go to a Democratic fundraiser to understand Republican policies? Do you ask iPhone fanatics for Android advice? It's the venue and participants that are the problem if you're looking for objective discussion.

I would say it's good news that the top three are ending contracts, and supposedly Sprint is going to as well. No more ETFS would be great news don't you think?

It's been a great year for consumers, if not for Sprint.

FWIW I think we'd all like to see a successful Sprint, I know I would. Where some of us disagree is wether they're on the right path or not.

Elimination of the traditional 2 year subsidy agreement may be beneficial for some, but they are still peferred by many with legacy Sprint plans. E.g., do the math and compare prices for an individual unlimited everything line plus EIP on Sprint today and the total for the same features on an Everything Data plan with phone subsidy.

Not to mention the advent of the "access charge." What's that all about.

Seems like a lot. You could get unlimited everything on MetroPCS for less than half what your paying. Had you considered that or no coverage in your area?

no, you may not realize what I pay $110, for..

I could go to the newer sprint plan for less, but I wouldn't dare..

at my disposal is an un-molested data pipe with no throttling, *use as I like* data, & I utilize the hell out of it.. in my region, sprint just works out.. it's the devil I know..

Ha! What's the saying? At least it's the devil you KNOW.

But out of curiosity apples to apples what do you like better on Sprint? If you could get the same thing for less (not saying you could just what if) would you change?

    I-don't-know-what I'm getting with metropcs -

"To provide the best possible experience for the most possible customers, and to minimize capacity issues and degradation in network performance, we manage significant high-speed data usage through prioritization. Specifically, customers who use more data than what 97% of all customers use in a month, based on recent historical averages (updated quarterly), will have their data usage de-prioritized compared to the data usage of other customers at times and at locations where there are competing customer demands for network resources, which may result in slower data speeds. Smartphone Mobile Hotspot (tethering) data is included in this calculation. Customers who use data in violation of their Rate Plan terms or MetroPCS’ Terms and Conditions may be excluded from this calculation. Data features that may not count against the high speed data allotment for some plans, such as data associated with Music Unlimited, counts towards customers’ usage for this calculation. Smartphone Mobile Hotspot (tethering) data is also included in this calculation. Based on network statistics for the most recent quarter, customers who use more than 23GB of data during a cycle will be de-prioritized for the remainder of the cycle in times and at locations where there are competing customer demands for network resources. At the start of the next cycle, the customer’s usage status is reset, and this data traffic is no longer de-prioritized."

give up what I have now, for that? I use over 25gb within my 1st 2 week of the billing cycle..

I already know I won't get throttled on sprint at 23gb, I'm already just around 40gb, today, & my billing period ends on the 20th of every month..

it's the devil I know already..

ooh my sprint gv integration has me hooked, since the beginnings of my nexus 5, I didn't have to worry about the volte, wifi calling madness, whether my device could route calls over IP based on a carrier's sanction, mattered not, it just worked, the integration decoupled my number from device, I could tether to my laptop, & still handle video / voice calls from it, via my number..

or even better, leave the device off, & take it out of the equation, & not miss a beat while on the laptop, connected to eth0 or wlan0..

& my un-molested data pipe to use as I saw fit, I can't get that from any other provider pound for pound, it would cost me much more..

even purchasing my nexus 6p, I coupled that to the same my all-in plan..
