Wait, I'm confused - how did you get in touch with the Network Vision staff directly? Additionally, what have the other 3 carriers moved on to? Last I checked, they are using Volte now...

Just got off the phone with Sprint and their network vision team told me it will be the 1st quarter of 2017 before they start implementing Volte. I just don't know if I'm willing to wait that long and then be told they are not going to implement it because the other 3 carriers have moved on to bigger and better things. I've been with sprint about 10 years and this just seems to be the norm and I don't know about alot of the people on here but the norm is getting really old to me

The tech agent I had on the phone put network vision on the phone 3way. And yes the other 3 carriers are on Volte for now but who knows by next year when sprint finally implements it

I have doubts they'll be ready for VoLTE in a year. Remember there's no VoLTE to CDMA fallback so if you lose LTE signal, that call would be dropped. That's why Verizon hasn't pushed it like T-Mobile (on T-Mobile/AT&T calls can drop to HSPA+). CDMA is working great for them in terms of voice reliability... I think we won't see VoLTE until there's a big densification of the network (so there's no more 1X/3G islands) and 800MHz is available to be used everywhere (no more border or public safety restrictions).
Carriers I've used: Sprint, T-Mobile, Cricket, AT&T, Verizon, Page Plus, Virgin Mobile, Movistar, AT&T Mexico, Telcel, Straight Talk, RingPlus.
Phones I've used: iPhone 6S, iPhone 5c, HTC One M9, Samsung Galaxy S3, LG G2, BlackBerry Storm, Nokia 820, Motorola Atrix HD, iPhone 4S, HTC One V, iPhone 4, Nokia Lumia 900, Nokia N9, Samsung Focus, Samsung Captivate, Nokia N900, HTC 8525, iPhone 3GS, iPhone, Nokia E61i, Siemens A56...
Coming from an S4 to note 4 it is really frustrating having to get off the phone to receive a mms or just group text. I am shopping around. The only thing the tech said was we are the only carrier with truly unlimited data. My reply was what good is it if you can't use any while on the phone.

I was duped on that when going from Moto X to LG G3. The Note 3 is the last device worth owning that does both at the same time. What's funny about that rep's pat response is unlimited data isn't really even being marketed or pushed by them anymore. Wonder what he would of said if you were on the cut your bill in half plan.
Some guy in the field today just had to hang up and call back because of this. I asked him who his carrier was and surprisingly he said Verizon. I don't know what phone he had though.
Sprint Kickstart until the apocalypse!
- Z2 Force / Pixel 3
- AT&T ZTE Mobley
You can get a text but if just between you and 1 other person. Group messages and pic messages no you have to get off the call to retrieve

The note 3 is supposedly to have data aka wimax turned off soon so if I understood correctly if will only have 3g capabilities because I asked to turn in my note 4 for a note 3 keeping same lease for an older device seemed fair to me

Sorry for the dumb question but are there different versions of note 3 like s4 I'm going to look to purchase 1 tonight

I'm so confused, why has Sprint still not implemented the ability to run 2 radios at once while on a call? Is that so hard?
