Exactly, now that they've sort of taught him Twitter it should be providing all the feedback he needs and save him some time, which is what he's rapidly running out of.

He has all the time in the world. After being hand-picked for the position, only Son can fire him and he would never do that. Claure's not going anywhere.

Because Claure has a film crew following him, that's the real circus of what he's doing. Can you tell me how to get on these "panels" he's holding? How are these panelists selected? If he wants to talk to customers, read his twitter, thousands of people complaining about real problems.

Here is a real problem: $36 suckers activation fee for ordering online.

Exactly but in all honestly Legere nailed it. This is their revenue. They CAN'T change. They're stuck in this path.

It's one thing to collect this, and one thing to offer solutions for what he's hearing, but it's another to actually want to do it.

I could probably sum up the general things though:
    Faster network.
    Bigger network.
    Cheaper phones.
    Cheaper service.

I hope though this listening tour may reveal more specific issues or good points that they can expand and capitalize on. Say Seattle is a city people love Sprint and everything is going well - emulate that in other cities that aren't doing well. Maybe they'll find out they cover the east side of San Diego very well, but when people go to the west side of town, it's bad. So, it would scare away many customers even if they only need to fix a portion of the network.

Here's to hoping he learns enough from this to help!
    Obviously agree.

It's a lame attempt at making him look connected. It's lame because it's not his style, they need a new casting director, or a better actor. Claure doesn't play this part well.

Of course that's my opinion. Let's see what happens.

Kinda like T-Mobile's $15 "SIM Card" fee?

Open discussions with people about what they want from their carrier.”

Does he really not know by now what customers want from their carrier? Once he finds out, can Sprint afford to provide it?

Maybe he should call it the "stimulus tour."Name: laughing.gif

He can put an overcoat on and pretend to be the Sprint guy from 2002 . Then use all these real world interactions in commercials. Cherry pick the best interactions. It's like a political campaign but for a company. Hesse did a few commercials. He can't be as bad as Hesse.

They need to gather up statistical data and figure out the markets with the most network complaints, send him there to spend the weekend and use his phone in those areas and figure out why they have failed their customers.

    That would show up T-Mobile

If you believe that feel free to report it, but that's not your job do to determine, nor my obligation to defend to you. You're out of line.

Whatever works, works. You can't argue with success.
