I've had this phone for a while and have always used wifi and not data. So now I will be needing data and had PPC enable it.
I restarted my phone and enabled data via the widget (the up and down arrow). Went to a browser tried to load a webpage. Got a message stating that "Connection Failed. Unable to connect. Please review your network settings."
Since I have the "My Data Manager" app, I thought that might be interfering, so I stopped it. I also tried stopping the avast antivirus. Still no connection.
The phone runs on Android 2.3.6.
Anyone have any ideas as to how to get data working?
Edit: Issue resolved after contacting PPC again. Was told to reprogram by dialing *22890 and then make test call. 3G data working now.
