Not sure if anyone saw this but can anyone still get the 6 gig retention plan tho for 60? If I let's say we're to start tomorrow?

Yes you should be able to get that plan. If there was a bonus that doesn't apply anymore but you should be able to get that plan. Just call in and ask for retentions or do the chat and ask for retentions

Seems these are the current plans:

MSV:
2GB for $25
20GB for $100
MSA:
6GB for $40 vs. $60
10GB for $70 vs. $80
15GB for $80 vs. $90 for 16GB
20GB for $90 vs. $110 for 25GB

So the MSV 20GB is the best "deal" still really depending on your usage and # of lines. I think the 5GB "bonus" that was offered, randomly, for 1 week should have been made permanent. Then the MSA plans have a bit more appeal.

Just so I (and maybe others) understand this right, I've put in the "regular" prices after the retention price - did I do it correctly? And there's also a $20/line charge in addition (unless extra for phone payment)

BTW, I'm looking online now and it appears the plans are now 1/3/6/10/16/25/unl GB.

Is the 6GB (3+3) for $40 retention deal still available? Also does unused data on MVS plans roll over? I'm on an old unlimited plan so I'm not sure how they work.

No I didn’t even have to threaten to leave, I just asked for it and they gave it to me. Of course your mileage may vary with certain reps. Rollover data is included in the 6 GB plan.

No need for a cap. Rollover is only good to the next month, then it's gone. So you can rollover whatever your plan gives you (say 6GB) so the next month you'll have 12GB. Then the next after that back to your normal 6GB.

Called today and told them it was annoying the BOGO offer is only for "new lines" considering I added a new line 3 months ago with no deals. The rep was friendly and nice and found two options:

1) $100 off iphone 6S/7. She said sometime in the next month they'd be able to offer $100 off the iPhone 8. Considering Wal-Mart is giving $100 off the 8, that's stingy.

2) The iPhone 8 at $249.99 with a 2 year contract on an Unlimited Plan. This would obviously increase my bill, but she claims it would be a solid $145 for Choice or $175 for Plus--i.e. no increased line access fees. Of course, if one does the math on 20GB retention plan and Unlimited Choice (yuck) and it almost nets out to zero anyways. If anything, the plus is better since we'd actually qualify for the $25 off, we simply don't need the data, it's pure profit for at&t.

Any upgrade fees will be waived on the line I was calling about, regardless of upgrade option, which was nice.

I guess I am better off waiting for Target/Costco/best Buy around Thanksgiving for a gift card deal. Of course, this year's "deals" are so atrocious, I don't hold out any hope there either. The carriers were far too generous on the 7 last year.

If a family could get 4 iPhone 8s at $249.99 upfront and pay the $190 or whatever it actually costs for unlimited plus, that is not a bad deal, but doesn't work out for me and they know it. But I doubt that offer would ever be made to an account that could actually take aadvantage of it. They know that offer makes no sense for us. AT&T makes it so unclear on what the unlimited pricing is compared to Verizon that it's laughable.

I signed up for new service last Monday and after reading this post contacted retentions on Thursday and was still able to get the 6 GB $40 plan. Billing cycle reset Saturday morning and all is good. Thanks to those who take the time to post the information here.
