Have read nothing but great things about these guys in the other thread! Tempted to join in the future should daily Canada data/voice/text passes (or equivalent) become available at some point.

What is the procedure and timeframe for porting in a number from a MagicJack? The number in question was originally a landline number on AT&T. I hear so many horror stories about porting away from MagicJack that I thought it wish to gather as much information as I can ahead of time.

I think they do manual releases for porting. As soon as you get it submitted we will be glad to help

I am currently on the 2 GB plan but if I wanted to switch at some point to the 5 GB plan, can I do that at any time and would it be effective immediately? I guess I might prefer that over topping off (1 GB for $10 although it would be valid for 3 months). Just curious.
