You should call in or use chat to VZW, they might carry them but they'll never be in the stores. It's unlikely to be able to order them without a rep's help.

I still question whether or not it supports B66 out of the box or will require an update to enable it.

As someone that has pretty much used every VZW jetpack/usb modem/etc since the beginning of time, I can tell you the Netgear products are junk and have always had one issue or another.

Keep in mind it uses a nano-SIM. So if you have a micro-SIM from an AT&T hotspot you'll have to cut it or convince AT&T to swap.

My 7730L is fine... assuming i keep a device active on it at all times. Otherwise, pressing the power button brings it back to life.

I don't think anyone said anything about AT&T here. This is a VZW thread.

I misread, ironically (or perhaps not so ironically) engaged in a conversation with you on another thread.

    Apologies.

I loved the 6620L, but the AC791L attracted me for the ability to run simultaneous 2.4 and 5. So far, we had a few of these in use but have not seen any issues.

I may try this one, but the USB3 is a deterrent as I have maybe one other USB3 cable.

Same here; company asked which device I wanted and I picked AC791L and have been meaning to revert to back to the 6620L sitting on my desk. If the SIM was the same size I would've done it by now. Haven't been traveling much lately so wasn't a priority.

As long as the internet is active, it will not go into sleep. It's designed to save power and no activity it will go to sleep till you hit that power button.
