LG Aristo offered for $39.99 with $100 refill card

T-Mobile introduced the LG Aristo Android 7.0 phone in January. List price is $144.

The T-Mobile prepaid site offers the phone for $39.99 with the purchase of a $100 refill card. [I'm too new here to post the link.]

Ordered one last night for $100 plus tax. Didn't need it but couldn't resist the deal. Not many reviews. Hope it's not a dud. Has FM radio though.
Now $110 - $10 for the sim kit, previously free .

    Thanks, AnciusD.

I checked my phone's About Phone settings and found an available update. The most recent automatic check was on September 27.

The update description stated, "This release includes updates that make your phone more secure and improves messaging."

New update available, security patch for BT and/or KRACK exploits maybe?

    Nov. 1, 2017
    Android 7.0
    Software version M21010s

*I installed the update (91.1Mb) and the release date says Oct 1 instead of Nov 1.

The LG AccuWeather widget has been nagging me all week to update. It was pretty small so I finally decided to do it. But then it automatically downloaded two more accompanying apps Weather Service and Weather Theme that's over 170MB! WTH!

And just a couple days later, it's gotten the January 1 security update. M21010v software version. Odd timing, but I'm very happy to get the patches.

You don't mean M21010U, right? I don't even see it listed on TMobile's site yet.
I'm at my end-of-the-month throttle so did not see it yet. Will check again for it in a day or two.
