Moto e 2nd gen is no longer accepting gsm

    I am using a verizon moto e 2nd gen.
I have been on an ATT mvno for about two years, no problems had.
I insert a gophone sim, and now I get zero reception with ATT.
I have looked at the preferred network, the only choice is cdma/lte, no choice for gsm/lte.
I have tried Network by Mangelow, no avail.

I have reset the phone. Still nothing.

The APN has been entered. Still an X above the reception display.

    The airplane mode is off.

    What am I missing?

How can I get it to work?

Thank you for all of your help.

AT&T recenly shut down their 2G network. I believe that phone has 3G/LTE, so I can't believe the shut down would really affect it. Just make sure the device is not set to 2G by default.

Its "preferred network" dmonly has ine choice, "cdma/lte".

How can I add gsm/lte option?

I have used network by phillip mangelow, no avail.

I just checked the specs of that phone. It has all the LTE bands used by AT&T. So. Not sure why it's not working. Put that SIM in another phone to see if it works.

    Its very odd indeed.

Whats more is that it does not give me an option to change my preferred network setting and is locked to cdma.

2 years I was on an ATT mvno and now it decides to bot accept an ATT sim. 😐

Where can I get good directions in manually installing android for the Verizon Moto E 2nd gen?
