Well others have different needs for their cell service and will pay a higher price for something that works.

    This is in NJ...

NVP - 3 lines at $20 each, 4gb at $41 (after employee discount). This bill one of the lines was $12.81 instead of $20 because of device credits that hit.

    Monthly Charges $93.81

    Surcharges:
    Fed Universal Service Charge $1.44
    Regulatory Charge $0.63
    Administrative Charge $3.69
    Total $5.76

    Taxes:
    NJ 911 System/Emerg Resp Fee $2.70
    NJ State Sales Tax $4.53
    Total $7.23

That's about a 13.85% in service and fees

    Second phone bill from NJ

    Phone Plan - 50.25 (15% Military discount)

    Line access fee $20

    Verizon surcharges 1.78
Tax and Gov fees - 1.94

    73.97

Next months prediction about the same.
