Sounds like a good candidate for CA.

AT&T Stand Alone AT&T Unlimited ZTE Mobley Hotspot Now Only $20!!!!!

When I put my Mobiley sim in the nighthawk I wasn't able to get 5G with neither "Broadband" and "NRBroadband" APN's. Since I was on the $20 standalone "Access for iPad 4GLTE " on my iPad line and also purchased the S7 Tab 5G, I updated the IMEI with AT&T's tech support. Then they switch and provisioned my iPad line to the new tablet line with 5G access. They shipped me out the new 5G all white sim card, SKU 6818B. I popped the sim card into the MR5100 changed the APN to "NRBroadband" and I was able to connect to 5G. The new Unlimited for Tablet provides the same gems as the old Access for iPad and Mobley plans. Unlimited data, unlimited hotspot, video streams are not throttled according to fast.com and most important, I no longer have the port cut out issues, most of us been experiencing since the start of covid-19.
So, is anybody else here using the Connected Car Plan SIM card in a 5G device and getting 5G service?

I haven't purchased a 5G device for the Mobley plan due to all the reports online stating the Mobley plan is unable to get 5G.

Are you able to get 5G on a Mobley plan? Your post makes it seem like you are getting 5G with a Mobley plan?

No, I still have 4G devices.

I am tempted to simply try a 5G smartphone and see if it gets 5G with that SIM card.

Anyone cancel or thinking of canceling your Mobley? I’ve had one since the beginning. When Google fiber came to my neighborhood it has been gathering dust on shelf. My AT&T 100GB iPhone and another 100GB on iPad plan covers everything else, I go back and forth, what if, not available anymore, only $23, but there it sits.

I can send an AOL floppy disk if you need it - Compuserve too. ;~>

Blast from the past - Why do I still have these? I got rid of most of the VHS, cassette and 8-track audio tapes years ago.

Actually, there is sort of a reason for the floppies. Our organ MIDI sequencer uses them.

Too bad AT&T killed that option.

I have thought about it. I have very rarely used anywhere near $23+ a month of it. It sure does come in real handy though occasionally. I used it just last week when the cable Internet went out in late evening two nights when I wanted to stream some video at bed time. On the third night I remembered to reboot the cable modem and router - duh.

It saved my bacon last Summer when we were at a VRBO vacation rental with no Internet. We were stuck inside most of the time with only $#1tty DirectTV because it was 100+ degrees outside (and Covid). The bedroom TV also didn't work so we watched bedtime TV on a tablet. It could have gotten ugly without it. That month was worth the $23+

I compensate by not paying much for phone service - ~$5/mo.

So then they tried unlimited tablet plans. People abused the heck out of that too. There were resellers cloning tablet IMEIs into hotspots by the thousands and selling it as legit AT&T unlimited.

Sometimes it seems like they are slow learners. Probably more like they think they are the smartest one in the room, and they're not.
