I received a SMS from ThreeUK this morning.
It said "Wecome to the USA" where it has always been since activated in early June[?].
    It was titled "Rate Advice".
It would appear that the rates have changed.
    {call, text, data} 3.3p, 1.3p, 3.3p/MB [old 3p, 2, 1p/MB]

The newest PAYG_Price_Guide_191017.pdf does not seem to reflect these rates.
Wow! They raised the data cost 330%! That's too bad!

But you're right that http://www.three.co.uk/termspdf/PAYG_Price_Guide_191017.pdf , dated 10/19/17, doesn't seem to show those rates.

    Thanks for doing the math.
When I was thinking about writing this I thought about the 330% number.
Then I thought maybe it is only 230%.
When I did write it I had forgotten that.

I checked the document link attached above and still see £20 gets you 12Gb of data for 30 days (9GB if you're roaming in one of the feel at home countries). That's still a pretty good deal.

I bought a ThreeUK SIM on Ebay 3 weeks ago for about $2. It arrived within ten days.

Like most UK telcoms, you must use a UK registered credit card so...
You paid $2 for sim card, you could get it for free from this link with free shipping for UK and they charge only for outside UK

    http://www.mysimcards.co.uk/free-3-sim-card-triple-cut

I activated it (got a mythree account on the internet) and bought a 20 GBP topup at:

    https://www.mobiletopup.co.uk/three

I used my paypal and it cost 1.5 GBP
Yes PayPal charges them fees that is why they charge more, but at the below link they have bank transfer option where you could save the PayPal fees, in traveling you should save as much as you can so that money could be spend in entertainment or something.

    I hope this helps..

Currently using (again) a 3 sim (12GB) bought off Amazon. (About $25 CAD) Put it in my wifi hotspot. And am using it in Portugal and Spain.

2 phones and an iPad connected. Using Voifi so my numbers don't change. And getting what I presume are great speeds as I have not noticed anything different in my usage.

And as a Bonus Plus? My wife has not complained so it must be working perfectly! The ultimate test!

I think this may be my new goto for travelling in 3 roam countries.
