Tech support wasn’t even aware that the new one was launching until I directed them to https://newsroom.sprint.com/sprint-a...-magic-box.htm

I will have a replacement Magic Box 2 on Monday and asked for notes to be placed on my account that I had requested a Magic Box 3 and can switch when it becomes available.

I have tried 5 times to order the Gold Box. Reps keep promising the new one and send the old one. Anyone have a suggestion how to actually get this vaporware?

Have 2x of the "vaporware". Advantages: Marginally better reception (i.e., work in very low signal area where v.2 did not work), and smaller form factor. Otherwise, not sure what the hype is. But, likely keeping them for our business, since we are a carrier agnostic outfit in a low signal area.

Good luck in getting (took us a few hoops and account notations to get things done).

Success on attempt #6. Speeds range from 28-70 Mbps during off peak and 25-35Mbps during peak hours. This is 50% faster than I was getting on the Gen 2 device. For reference, testing was on a iPhone 6+ and the last test on image 1 was with the new Magic Box turned off. Tests on image 2 were with gen 2 device. Third image is T-Mobile speeds on iPhone X at the same location.

I spent hours and hours trying to fix my mc7455 with pci enclosure. Found out it was just weak connection and nothing on my side will fix drop connection. Finally ordered magicbox ... it works wonder.
