    anyone still on $25 plan

i was wondering if anyone but me is still on the $25 plan.

i plan on switching to boost mobile new 3 gb plan for $35/30. i can use auto pay so it will cost me $30 and $5 more than the $25 plan.

I cannot see anyone still on...considering the $25 is only good for old 3G...not LTE.

The speed did not matter to me that much because I only get 2.5 GB of data.

I use opera mini most the time just to save data.

However, on the $25 plan they limit you to the zte awe and don't allow upgrading to a newer phone and that was a problem because a lot of new software won't run.

I already have a boost LG tribute HD so I don't need a new phone to switch to boost.

    With boost I will get:
    - 3 GB data instead of 2.5
    - Ability to change phones
    - Ability to change plans
    - LTE instead of 3G
    - Hotspot instead of no hotspot
    - 50 min voice roaming instead of no voice roaming
    - Unlimited Voice instead of 1000 min.

I kind of hate to give up the $25 plan and pay more but my phone is getting too old.
I wish they let me keep the original plan I had that was unlimited instead of changing it to 2.5 GB.

Im staying with this plan and the Awe til the phone dies. And i look like it and its battery will last forever!

The new Iphone deal looks good, but I would never pay 50 a month for cell. $30 is the max ill ever pay and I really don't care about the voice/ data limits. If I knew there would be a 300min with some data plan after a year, Id jump on that iphone deal.

they upgraded my minutes from 300 to 1000 but i never used that much.

for the price it is still an ok deal if you don't mind the old phone.

i switched to boost with the tribute hd.

the tribute hd has lots more memory than the awe. that was another problem i could not install many programs on the awe due to lack of space.

it sounds like you will be given the option to keep your virgin grandfathered plan on boost but i assume you will still be locked into the awe.

the first year of the virgin iPhone is good but after that it cost more than boost which is $45 with auto pay. also you can get the iphone on boost on the $35 plan which is cheaper too.

however, i would not buy an expensive iphone which adds a lot to the overall cost.
