New design of Sharp smartphones – How do you like it?

It seems everyone's lost interest in this forum and, by extension, in Japanese phones, Sharp-made smartphones in particular (or vice versa). I'd imagine this is because of the dull iPhone/Samsung copycat design that was introduced with last summer's collection – Softbank's Aquos Xx3 (506SH), Docomo's Aquos Zeta SH-04H, AU's Aquos Serie SHV34 – and all subsequent models. I for one was particularly confounded by the complete absence of design ingenuity in the latest Aquos R that is practically indistinguishable from last year's Samsung devices, or those released by just about any Chinese low-cost knock-offs.

I have even started to express my personal attitudes of discontent in the reviews I write of Sharp devices on my website, http://sharp.cheeseus.org, one great fan of Sharp as I am.

i have sharp aquos 506sh from softbank. it on noughar 7.0. i want to upgrade its software to 8.0 but it gives usim error.
i am currently living out side japan.
how can i update the software?
i have tried VPN trick, but still no luck.
kindly guide me how i can?
