Assurance Wireless - Lifeline service - Android options?

ZTE Quest is their default Android that they ship.

Anyone know of other smartphone options with Assurance lifeline service?

There's a page on their site called "product information" where some other androids they have listed are Coolpad Avail and Unimax U673c

Also - In their FAQ's there is a section about "swapping phones" that only lists the ZTE Quest specifically:

The ZTE Quest is a compatible AndroidTM smartphone that can be used on Assurance Wireless.

Virgin Mobile and PayLo phones EXCEPT the Party Animal, Super Model, LG Rumor2, LG Flare, Kyocera Loft 2300, Blackberry®, iPhone and Android™ models may be used with an Assurance Wireless account. For the best customer experience we encourage you to use the phone sent to you by Assurance Wireless.
(It seems odd to me that they list a bunch of specific models that aren't compatible, then they just say "all Blackberry, Iphone, and Android models" so any phone in existence is incompatible? Huh?)

What is the reason you can't just use any unlocked device, or a Virgin-specific device with their service?

I have a ZTE Quest that they sent me. It is a total garbage phone. Touchscreen is almost totally dead on it. But even before the touchscreen went on it, it was a garbage phone.

    Thanks!

If it uses a SIM card it should work with any unlocked device. I provide Tru-Connect which uses T-Mobile towers in my area.

Nah. My ZTE Quest doesn't have a SIM card.

That's not what they said ; "Virgin Mobile and PayLo phones EXCEPT ... models may be
used with an Assurance Wireless account. If you have a PayLo iPhone, go for it!
