At launch only one phone will be supported, that is the LG X Charge, which also launches Friday. My assumption is that other phones, including several current phones from cricket will have wifi calling functionality enabled soon, including the iphones.

And yes you can use The WiFi calling anywhere you have WiFi, including internationally in countries where cricket doesn't roam.

I believe the unlimited $60 plan at 8Mbps will still exist

*yawn*, couldn't care less until it's available for most phones, like the Pixel.

I'm surprised the LG X Power still has not received any updates to receive VoLTE or Wifi Calling. I know that in the hidden menu it states IMS is "Not supported" meaning VoLTE at this time cannot work without an update, then again who said the X power supports VoLTE in the first place hence the $10 price tag when I bought it.
Home Entertainment: Xfinity Double Play with 140+ channels and 200 Meg Per Second Internet.

    Landline: Google Voice

Mobile Entertainment: Verizon Prepaid as my Primary, Sprint as my secondary.

Yes, for $10 can't really complain.

FYI, I believe the LG X Charge will be $99.99 (bring your number) and $129.99 for new number or upgrades.

I may be clueless, but wouldn't WiFi calling remove some load from the LTE network? If I'm right, that's a big win for Cricket.

It would but voice calls on LTE use such a small amount of bandwidth, less even than a dial up connection.

Plus VoLTE calls have priority over data.

The new plan for $5/month cheaper for one line sure doesn't seem worth it. If money is really such an issue go with a 4GB plan

For 2 people, if you need unlimited, it is a much better deal. Who needs binge on, for instance, for music.
iPhone 11 is my current primary phone. But I have more phones than lines. Back to only Prepaid with the changes in the economy.

Limited time. $55/mo. Unlimited 2 plan req'd on 2 lines. $30 discount on 2nd line on same acct. Not elig. for Auto Pay credit or Group Save discount. Unlimited 2 Data Restrictions: Data speeds max of 3 Mbps. Video streaming speed max of 1.5 Mbps (SD quality, about 480p). After 22GB of data usage on a line in plan cycle, Cricket may slow data speeds during periods of network congestion. See cricketwireless.com/mobilebroadbandMobile Hotspot not avail.

Is this implying for a limited time this will cost $55 rather than $80?

If I had 2 lines with this plan and then 3 on the basic plan I wonder what the cost would be.

Cricket Wireless to officially launch Wi-Fi calling 7/21

Didn't read this entire thread yet but when I went to order a phone it says 2 line unlimited which was strange at the time.

Still wondering if group plan will get unlimited 2.
