My Android phone is also having issues too.... It keeps making the phone connect to HSPA+ (4G)

That would be a local/area network issue then.

I have a similar issue with the s8 950U1 unlocked non att branded phone.. needs att hd voice / volte.. for numbersync to work with an s3 watch..

Att rep says because its unlocked i'm out of luck, though one other rep said i could possibly flash with att firmware to get around, but the other said it wont work and some online seem to say it wont work.

Another suggestion was to put the sim card in a branded phone then enable numbersync and back to the s8.. but att says this might work for short term but the system will detect the non att phone imei and disable it.

My sim card was bought from att 2 months ago too.

BTW it was a local error on TAC/LAC 26384. I just had to reset my phone to factory settings and it fixed the problem that is until my GPS and WiFi failed on the LG PHOENIX 2. I upgraded to the Phoenix 3.

For AT&T not to have VOLTE taken care of at this point in the game is ridiculous.

When did AT&T stop supporting simultaneous voice/data? Couldn't do both on GSM/2G, but ATT dropped that.

I'm assuming you worded your post wrong, because AT&T has simultaneous voice/data across it's UMTS and LTE networks. However, as VoLTE isn't standardized and carriers have created red-headed step-children from it's standards, not all devices can access VoLTE. Phones that don't support VoLTE on AT&T's network will revert to UMTS for calls, which still supports data transfer during calls.

My Moms iPhone 5S supports HSPA+ (Voice) and LTE (Data) at the same time.

But the poster I was replying to was saying that ATT doesn't support it at the same time. Actually, if you don't have VoLTE, on ATT you will drop to 3G/4G for data while on a call. But you will still have both at same time.

Try this it worked on my daughters I phone X go to settings a reset network settings on your i phone and volte and wifi calling should start working

When she gets a call her LTE and HSPA+ radios are transmitting at the same time and shows 4G LTE instead of 4G or LTE when in a call even though H+ was used for VOICE.
