I'm not sure that's anything to be excited about, but maybe it is to certain users.

It's good that PPC has made a positive change.

    Thanks for posting about it!

    At least its something.
PP still has some way to go to catch up to GSM MVNOs but this is a step forward.

Will their service allow the phone to be used as a hotspot?

I looked into it but on the website but it doesn't have too much fine print on the new $69.99 plain concerning video optimizing and if you reach a certain threshold if they throttle you. So I don't know.

I assume it's related to the lack of excitement for this new unlimited upgrade.

There was a time when Page Plus was a leader in the MVNO market. At least, it seemed that way to me. I don't think that's the case anymore. There are too many better options available.

Ding ding ding we have a winner!
As a US citizen I have the right to criticize my government. My thanks for this is endless in magnitude.

Fascism is here led by a hypersensitive psychopathic dictator having complete power, obsessively suppressing criticism, regimenting industry & commerce. Emboldening racism & aggressive nationalism.

It seems like it will be a good plan though.

To be honest its supposedly because Tracfone is bleeding customers to other company's, Straight Talk and Total Wireless and PPC are having to now boost data to try and lure people back.
Mobile: AT&T Prepaid(Primary), Sprint Free One Year Promo(Secondary). iPhone SE for AT&T Prepaid, Moto E4 Retail for Sprint.

boosting data at the $70/mo level isn't going to do too much... I really wish they would boost data on their $30/mo plan to be more competitive... I'm very close to jumping ship (and taking 7 $30/mo lines with me)...

That's true. Can't you get unlimited everything from Vzw postpaid for close to that $69.95/mo cost? Or less on a multi-line account?

And regarding the 1GB, $29.95/mo plan, even Boom beats that with 2GB for $29.99/mo, and for 2 lines, TW has 15GB/mo shared for ~$31/mo/line!
