Yes, I just got the same message (with the exception that my anniversary date is different from yours).
This sucks, but it was inevitable.
For what you get, it's still probably the lowest cost alternative around. Unless anyone has any suggestions? I'm opening to changing.

Whelp, I think it might be time to take my two $30 lines and convert them to one Bell/Virgin/Koodo SK line. 15GB data that is full speed and not screwed up and no zone will run about $85.
Bell SK+fongo:
$85 Unlimited NA, NA text, US Roaming, 15GB

"In accordance" as in 'don't bother complaining'.
On postpaid rates are considered a key term of the agreement, made explicit with the Wireless Code update.
Still a deal at $35.
But.. it's the principle.
A 60% increase in out-of-zone PPU? When you are still on the native network?

Finally let my 20GB plan go last month for a Freedom SIM, an easier decision for me at $50 for that plan.
I now see 8-10mbps on their 3G compared to 3mbps on Chatr, and better pings here in AB.
Glad to be done with Rogers.
Those comfortable with zoned usage might consider the FM alternative now.
Out-of-zone is .05/MB, .05/SMS, .15/min, US & Canada.
Especially this weekend with their Flash Sale back till the 18th.
6GB LTE $40, 8GB with US/Canada roaming for $50.

You'll have to phone in to get your Chatr account number for a port-out, they hide it from the user's online account.

Depends. Since I had two of them, the price would have gone up to $70. A SK plan could be put together for the same price with Canada wide calling with 15GB, unzone for the same amount of money. A little more gets US roaming as well.

I am on the $30 plan with the 30 out of zone minutes and I have not received this text message yet.
But I will be switching to Zoomer Wireless early November.

It is. $10 increase. At $50 it was worth it for the lack of speed and occasional loss of signal. At $60 I'm not so sure. Going to start looking into other providers BYOD options.

Wow, they actually called me to try to talk me down from cancelling. Not sure if they got my feeling from here or my phoning in to remove my autopay or the survey.
They offered me more expensive plans in response to my complaint of the rate increase. Told them nope. Charging 40 cents for out of zone calls that were originally stated would be free and then raising monthly rate by $5 was insane since this doesn't make any dent in their bottom financial line. Could have complained more but obviously the person on the phone couldn't do anything anyways.
On a good note, they are refunding me my $210 account balance without a fight.
