Thumbs down The Robbers legacy lives thru Chatr...

    So,
    in typical Robbers style,
Chatr hooked everyone with a $10/month account deposit shortly after the switch from Mobilicity... a great way to keep the customers around- at least the ones who were willing to feed Robber's data machine with their credit cards.

Now, they're working towards getting it all back.

$30 plans are now up by $5/month starting next month.

Pay per use charges that were $0.25 are now up to $0.40/min

the only others I know who implement 60% increases in such short periods of time are oil/gas/insurance companies.

Robbers... too big to fail, to big to worry about what anyone thinks.. too big to give a p oop.

if anyone from chatr reads this- thank you for living up to robbers' brutal reputation for being the worst of everything.

Received the text this evening, Mobis rates where to good to be true under rogers. I'm surprised they took this long for an increase, even with the $5 increase old plans are still cheaper then what's out there. This increase was blamed on "accordance with the CRTC Wireless Code" next will be there updating there infrastructure. Ill keep my plan for now but when my monthly fee reaches the norm, ill tell Robers to go #$%$ them selves and pay the norm some where else.
Mobilicity $15.00 Promo plan + $5.00 increase under rogers ownership.

Weren't the $25 plans advertised as "for life". Perhaps that's why. I don't believe that the $30 plan that came, later on, had the "for life" claim, or did it?

I have no clue. It was an expired mobilicity plan though.

No, they're silent about the reason about the rate change. It's just that the change is in accordance with the code since they gave you 30 days.

I wonder if I can get my $200 balance back since it's their change and not me cancelling.

Just got the text 30 minutes ago. They are raising my rate by $10 and my wife's by $5. I knew something was up when they sent this long survey to me two weeks ago. The other shoe is dropping. If this type of crap continues, I will leave.

Sent from my Nexus 6 using HoFo mobile app

I got the text message the same time as you. My $50 / 20 GB plan is also going up $10 in November. I didn't get a survey though.

This is my second line that is primarily used for the 20 GB of data and iMessage with my brother. I'll probably put my plan in vacation mode for a while (you're allowed up to six months, I believe) and see what I'll do next.
    TELUS: Unlimited 25 $37.50/25GB x 2 (50 GB pooled data)
AT&T Unlimited Plus: Unlimited talk & text in and between the U.S., Canada, & Mexico, ?? GB data

OK, I just got the Rogers Customer Feedback e-mail to fill out an approximately 15-minute Chatr survey. Time to let Rogers know what I think of Chatr's 3 Mbps limit and 20% increase in price!!

... all the plans AND pay per use are going up.. some by $5, some by $10... I didn't think I could hate anything as much as these crooks.

Robbers truly is the dumpster fire of canadian wireless.

Thank you CRTC, CCTS and whoever else feeds off the bureaucratic teet for watching this disaster unfold.

I haven't heard of any price increases for the $25 plan yet, although that could change.
