The RRU has the capability to broadcast the entire range of those bands however, naturally, Verizon just uses the bands they're actually licensed for.
Before today I haven’t seen B66 or B25 in my area- just 2, 4, 5 & 13 on most sites. I was connected with CID 51/52/53 for a few hours today and saw all 6 bands. I wonder why B66 & B25 would just now begin to show up in the past few days if those bands aren’t really being broadcast? I typically run Field Test at least once per week for about an hour off-and-on.

Additionally, my 90 Mbps mid-day speed test vs. I'm lucky to get half that speed on other sites leads me to believe that additional usable spectrum and/or CA was definitely added to that site.

Below is the app I use on my Nexus 6P, showing Sprint (via Project Fi) on B25.

Tomorrow I will check for B25 with my Verizon SIM. The 6P doesn’t support B66.

I'm assuming the first few sites went up were just using equipment that was towards the end of testing or almost finished prototypes of what is currently being manufactured.
I did some research tonight and may have an explanation of the B25 sightings... According to info from Spectrum Omega, my area (Washoe County/Reno) has both AWS-3 J Block (2 x 10 MHz) and G Block (2 x 5 MHz). There’s not many areas of the country where Verizon has more than one block of AWS-3. I’m guessing that the iPhone Field Test is properly showing J Block as B66, and improperly showing G Block as B25. Does that seem plausible? It sure would be nice to get an accurate Field Test on the iPhone.

I see that the UARFCN doesn’t match the bands shown on Field Test according to https://www.cellmapper.net/arfcn?net...N=1050&MNC=302

No screenshots, but yesterday I picked up band 66 between SF and the valley on 280 at the 84.

iPhone Field Test readings are getting more weird each day. The other day I see Band 25, today I see Band 26...

Did Sprint open up their sites to Verizon roaming? What’s weird is that while driving in a good coverage area, a minute before and after it was showing different nearby VZW CIDs.

Service mode on the iPhone is absolute crap. I wish they would fix it. All it needs to do is decode information it’s getting from the antenna and cellular modem chip. I don’t know why it’s so freaking hard to fix that.

I’ve done hours of drive testing in the past week, and haven’t seen B66 (nor 25/26) since December 21. I’ve even spent time encircling towers with recent antenna upgrades where I saw B66 before.

On December 26 I swapped my SIM card into my Nexus 6P for about an hour in hopes of explaining why I saw B25 & B26 earlier in the month (the 6P doesn’t support B66), but only 2/4/5/13 showed up coming from towers that my iPhone had showed additional bands 25/26/66 earlier in the month.

I’m wondering if I somehow screwed up a profile or something by temporarily swapping my SIM into the 6P, and now the network doesn’t think my phone is B66 capable? Is that even possible? Or maybe they were just testing B66 earlier in December?

I'm not saying that's a bad thing. Could be cause your area can't do any higher than 10x10 B2 and or they can't ever do B5, so they bought more aws. That's a guess on my part.
