My guess is that they have started activating 256 QAM. I have noticed that they are activating at a rapid pace, across the country.

60 miles south of where I live , AT&T has a crapload of spectrum and very good density. 256 QAM and fully scaled backhaul would easily unleash 200+ Mbps speeds

    20x20 band 2
    10x10 band 4
    25 MHz band 5
    10x10 band 12
    10x10 band 14
    10x0 band 29
    10x10 band 30
    10x10 band 66

    Over 175 MHz of spectrum

Well, I mapped the B66 on Cellmapper but so far it isn't showing. I mapped some T-Mo coverage last year that hasn't shown up either and I've uploaded all my points. Oh well.

That happens to me sometimes, too. I restart the app a lot now (full exit) and that seems to help.

Have not seen it in Houston yet. My Pixel 2 on Verzion seems to mostly stay on 4 and switches to 13 deep in buildings. My iPhone X on At&t typically camps on 30 or 2.

Cellmapper now has a drop down menu allowing you to select Verizons LTE bands. There's some B66 coverage showing in different areas now but the EARFCNs indicate MFBI but that could mean AWS-3 is active on those sites. I'm getting pimped out of the coverage I mapped near East Lansing, MI. Cellmapper has lost some cred afaic.

Very little mapping in Kansas City for VZW. I’ll be sure to do quite a bit when I’m up there in March.

That's actually B2 PCS. Not AWS.

Interesting, Verizon is pretty spectrum constrained here on PCS. I’ll take it though.

Here too in OKC. Wish they'd get more spectrum from DISH. They really need it here. BAD.

Band 66 in Center Valley, PA . I seen about 10 new macros in the area with only 2 panels per sector.

    AWS-1 with MFBI.

No, that’s AWS-1. There’s some sort of issue with B4/B66 where phones are having trouble with MFBI. My AWS-1 shows as 1050 here as well, might be an ALU issue. The reason I know it’s AWS-1 is because it aggregates with 12/30 and my PCS spectrum can’t aggregate here unless it’s with 5.
