how to completely delete photos from Android phone beyond recovery?

there are many private photos that need to be erased in my Galaxy S8 phone, but keep other data still live in the device. obviously, factory reset is not suitable. I know deleting a data can be easily recovered by some data recovery, so, is there a way that permanently erase photos from Android phone?

Do you use Google Photos? If so try deleting individual photos.
As a US citizen I have the right to criticize my government. My thanks for this is endless in magnitude.

Fascism is here led by a hypersensitive psychopathic dictator having complete power, obsessively suppressing criticism, regimenting industry & commerce. Emboldening racism & aggressive nationalism.

it seems not valid way to just delete photos on a phone. If the photos synced with cloud service, then just delete them on the web and the photos will be deleted on the phone automatically.

if not, then check this tutorial. just found it via Google search.

However I don't think the factory reset will completely erase your data on Android phone, the data still be recoverable by some data recovery, so the best way is to use a safe eraser tool to wipe out your phone data permanently.
