Shut down? Are they completely removing Band 30 from some sites?

You’re telling me. Not sure what people thought this thread was about. If you don’t understand what the terms I’m using mean, don’t comment.

Yes, mrizz96 has seen B30 completely removed from some sites. When he has a minute, he told me he will reply with his findings.

Interesting. Telus in Canada started deploying B30 like crazy, but now they seem to be shutting it off. A local site had it for maybe a month, and now its off.
Wonder if its the same reason as AT&T.

Why yes, I know this, it's all over even in rural areas. I was speaking about the 9845 EARFCN.

That’s good because I plan to get a AT&T MNVO eventually

Here in Oklahoma City, the WCS rollout has not gone smoothly for some reason. I see lots of decreased signal and low SNR compared to AWS. While it has eased some congestion, I don’t see much of a benefit of it here. Local engineers need to get a handle on it, and possibly scale up the transmission power. Currently, WCS is 10x10 here in Oklahoma County. I have not seen 5x5 anywhere in the state.

    Here's my findings from Saturday.
In my area of Queens, everything is still 2 x 10.
While driving in the Bronx, uptown Manhattan and NE New Jersey, it was 2 x 5 mixed in with 2 x 10.

Wasn't able to run a speedtest as I was driving, just had service mode running in the background.

I’ve seen band 30 here and there in CT, but not really too too widespread. I wonder if they’re still having some interference issues with Sirius XM? Seems kind of odd that they’re getting rid of the frequency from some of their sites.

I haven't seen any difference in southeastern VT, still 10 Mhz with okay propagation, pretty strong signal in los on an S8+ not very widespread, with only two sites here I've seen with B30 being in Bellows Falls and Brattleboro near the roundabout and exit 3 of I91.
