Should be a standard LTE nano-SIM. Think of it like when HSPA+ became a "4G" technology. Gigabit LTE is still LTE.
    Okay that’s what I figured but wasn’t 100% sure.

Looks like it supports everything except UL CA:

I’m not positive, but support for that may be implied with the inclusion of LAA support.

Yep. Probably the same update we are anxiously waiting for on the S8

So how does this compare to the unite explore in terms of band support?

Adds B66 (confirmed) and possibly B46 (TBD). All other bands are the same, but faster due to 4xCA even if you don't get >600 Mbps downlink today.

Oh, and it's now available to order online. Went live alongside iPhone X.

I originally read that this would be $49.99 for the first couple weeks as a promo. Online it shows $89.99. Can anyone confirm that the price is really going to be $49.99?

Would like to to know this as well. Also it’s not allowing me to upgrade an ancient iPad like to this. The only option is purchasing outright. Any way around that besides going to a store? Could I just buy at full price online and go to store to return and add it back as an upgrade?

If you scroll down there's a link telling you can get it for $49, but adding it to cart does nothing as far as the discount goes.

Just found out the discount is applied at checkout.

Hmm. Might pick this up. I have both the unite pro and the explore so I'd be hoping this unit would perform better. I'm not in a great att area though. It's good but not great.

Maybe sell the unite explore plus I have the docking cradle which turns it into a home router too. Also have the mimo antenna too.
