Correction on note 2 - outside US (and some South-American countries) it will would not get 4G LTE connectivity, it's missing the required bands (3, 7, 20).

This looks spec-wise identical to the Cricket Huawei Elate that is available at Best Buy. Only issue is that the Cricket version is almost 50% cheaper at $65.

Maybe the XT2 will be on sale during Black Friday at $49.99.

Cricket Elate + unlock < Non-BF price of the Ascend XT2.
Cricket Elate + unlock usable on more carriers/MVNOs than OOB Ascend XT2.

You have to be a member of the Illuminati to decipher it.

You may also be able to crack the code if you have one of these:

    I'll try to decode this.

Cricket Elate + ebay unlock is still cheaper than non black friday price of Ascend XT2.

Unlocked Cricket Elate can be used on all GSM networks while out of box locked ATT Ascend XT2 can only be used on ATT GSM network.

Anyone have the XT2? Please post your thoughts here, especially for call quality and speaker volume.

Seriously, dude, isn't the less than sign "<" something like 4th grade math? And during every November "BF" stands for "Black Friday", not "boyfriend".

Besides, you shouldn't waste your time and energy bashing Cricket - as it is, they're doing a fine job bashing themselves these days. Or does your post about the Stylo 3 mean you're considering a return?

So I now have this phone and it is excellent. However, I cannot find out how to disable the "swipe to unlock" setting. I have all my phones set to simply come on when pressing the power button. I don't have to worry about butt dialing or anything and I like saving a step. Anyway, in the settings for this XT2, it appears to be set to "no lock screen" but I still have to swipe to unlock. Appreciate any help I can get.

I have the phone too & really like it so far. What's strange is Wi-Fi calling is MUCH better than the Moto 4 Play, but cellular call quality is not quite as good.

Will check tonight see if the swipe to unlock can be defeated on mine.
