Cricket needed to communicate better. Most folks dont have the time to hang out here and monitor what was once a rumor.

I anticipate many folks will vote with their feet. Cant say i blame them.

Also I thought the Zendesk Email was discontinued in favor of Twitter or Facebook Customer support.

i read somewhere that starting on 11/5/2017 if you change your plan in the middle of the billing cycle it would make you pay now instead of the next bill. not sure if the info is correct

Those of us who were anywhere around this forum couldn't have missed that info, but I'm not really sure if I would have been aware if I had of made the change in one those time frames, when I don't monitor the forum...
Good point. I just texted my group's admin to ensure she's aware of the new rules on changes. Thnx.

Again and again, Cricket reveals itself as the most despicable wireless service. Price increases, service cutbacks, throttling, upcharges, its a disaster! Called it a long time ago, but these guys won't survive.

Since I've been on the 5 lines for 100:

    1. Cricket upgraded my lines from 2gb to 5gb, and 4gb to 8gb without me doing anything,

    2. Cricket added the "Stream More" option to help get the most out of my Data.

    3. Cricket changed to ATT servers instead of third party for better pings and snappier performance.

    4. Cricket added VOLTE. (granted none of the phones I use but whatever)

    5. Cricket brought down the price of unlimited plan. (The 8mbps one)

All this in just over a year without me doing anything....

Now...WTF are you talking about guy...

He may be a troll but they are hiding the plan price changes (if plan is changed) and not communicating them to their customers. Leaves me a bit miffed. Good deal for now, hopefully something better ones on black Friday.

Cricket took away the option to upgrade the plan for a line and to downgrade the line plan while keeping the 5 for $100 plan. Once a line has been upgraded, the plan is apparently gone for all lines. Cricket has stopped the upgrade/downgrade scheme.

More than a little over dramatic. Words like "despicable" and "disaster"...

Nor, was there a big advance notice then or this time. The only advance notice was thru this and other forums.

Cricket always sends out texts whenever there’s some sort of plan change. It would have been nice of them to send out a warning that any plan changes would result in the increase in charges.

Thanks for the heads up. One of the friend on my line is now considering leaving. So I guess I better add some $$ to the account to cover whatever charge.
