Nearly all Chatr plans are zoned (99.9%? lol)
For a very short time they sold national plans but those disappeared in a few months (might have been a promo only)
    Public $120 Province Wide + 12GB - $6 Autopay - $9 Loyalty - $45 Refer = $20 per Month
Telus SK North American Wide 7GB = $65
    Chatr (Mobi) $40 North America Wide + 6GB + 30 Mins Roaming
    Freedom $35 ($37-BTS) North America Wide + 8GB + 1GB Roaming

Data is zoned. Calling and texting are not zoned. 3G network

It was documented here at HoFo on April 19, 2016 that Chatr added In-Zone plans to their lineup: http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...ith-Mobilicity

Only if you have an In-Zone plan. If you have one of their Talk & Text plans (with optional data), this is NOT true -- data is Canada wide.

Today, counting their two special Auto-Pay plans with 500 MB of bonus data (so generous! /S), five of their eight plans are In-Zone. So 62.5%.

I don't know why you're thinking they sold national plans only in the past -- they still sell them today. Their $35 and $45 Talk & Text (Optional Data) plans are Canada-wide. Their $25 Talk & Text (Optional Data) plan has Canada-wide data -- my girlfriend has used this plan all over Ontario and British Columbia and hasn't been charged a penny in roaming fees.

This is wrong. If you have an In-Zone plan, then data, calling and texting are all zoned. If you don't have an In-Zone plan, data is NOT zoned.

Saying '3G network' is a bit imprecise. There are two classes of Chatr data:
    1) My Chatr In-Zone plan is hard limited to 3 Mbps.
    2) My girlfriend's $25 Talk & Text (Optional Data) plan is hard limited to 10 Mbps.

Chatr’s data add-ons for their three Talk & Text plans have always been national data. Not surprisingly, Lucky Mobile’s data add-ons for their three talk and text plans are also Canada-wide data.
